My first venture to Seattle and probably not my last. A
fascinating city to explore, that has a multitude of nationalities from all over
the World, architecture
that pleases the eye and colors that make it all come together.
Outside of Seattle is equally enchanting as Mount Rainier graces over this area
along
with the other mountains, coves and valleys that encompass Seattle.
I've never gotten
this close to chipmunks, but this was in a picnic area of Mount Rainier National
Park and these obviously were looking
for a hand-out. What was interesting was they would stand erect on a
picnic table as one approached and in some instances
allowed me to get within just inches before they scampered away. Never
blinking an eye or moving, I was able to practically lay
the camera on the table and take the shot.
Pike Market Place and the general area was one of my hangouts for an entire day.
Seattle without Starbucks Coffee wouldn't
be Seattle, although there's Seattle's Best Coffee too. Fresh vegetables,
fruit, fish, clams, lobster in the market place were
all scenes rich in color.
Green meadows, blue skies and a background of mountain tops is all inspiring in
the area of
Mount Rainier National Park.
