Migrating Monarch Butterflies

Wednesday afternoon, September 13th, between 3:30 and 4:10 P.M., there were literally
hundreds of Monarch butterflies assembling  on the Northside of the Kansas State Capitol

grounds in several different trees.  A fascinating sight to observe clusters of Monarchs
that normally would try to elude you during the mid-Summer months.
