Migrating Monarch Butterflies
(Click on thumbnail for larger view)
Wednesday afternoon, September 13th, between 3:30 and
4:10 P.M., there were literally
hundreds of Monarch butterflies assembling on the Northside
of the Kansas State Capitol
grounds in several different trees. A fascinating
sight to observe clusters of Monarchs
that normally would try to elude you during the mid-Summer
months.
