This little gem probably gets passed by literally hundreds of times by passing motorists, but is
located at the intersection of Southwest 37th Street and Fairlawn Road, Topeka, KS.   Actually, if
you drive as far South on Fairlawn Road, before having to turn West on 37th Street, the
entranceway and small vehicle parking area is directly North of the intersection.

Wildflowers are in different pockets of this natural area, within the City of Topeka, and are
accessible via trails and maintained pathways.

A sizeable lake within this wildlife area is encompassed by the walking paths and trails.

A word of caution if you go into this area - Ticks and mosquitoes are abundant.
