Nature at Spring Arbor
Lake
Part
2 - Carbondale, Illinois
Difficult to photograph on a very
dark-cloudy day, this lone Hummingbird is
guarding the territory of two feeders. The distance was about 35
feet and
raining at the time.
Here we were able to get within
10 feet of the feeders, while twelve Hummingbirds
competed for positions on
one feeder.
The latter two photographs were
taken with our Olympus C-180 teleconverter removed from a
C-2100UZ,
which enabled a view of several Hummingbirds fighting for
positions on one feeder.
