Winter birds on the Campus of
Osawatomie State Hospital
(Click on image for larger view)
During the Noon hour on January 15, while
sitting stationary in my Jeep, a pair of Bluebirds
were in the area along with several Dark-Eyed Juncos, Black-Capped Chickadees, a
Ruby-crowned
Kinglet and a White-Breasted Nuthatch.
One of the Bluebirds was stationary about 65
feet away
and afforded us several different poses from that angle. Using an HQ C-180
teleconverter,
these shots were taken through an open window.
